Tonight many of us celebrate because a victory has been won for the Gay community in NYC. It shouldn;t have been a celebration, but rather a way of life. Unfortunate, there are many in our beloved country that feel it's sinful for some to unite as a married couple if they belong to the same sex .
Many folks will continue to frown upon those states that endorse same-sex marriages. Very much as many states frown upon mix raced couples. Remember how angry folks would get and still get whenever they see a couple from different races. |

During a time when ALL of us should be celebrating unions. Many are left in sadden by the outcome for same sex marriages in some states. This week NYC is trying to change and update with the times. Its a shame that this issue, is currently dividing groups of people all over America. Once more, when we all should be unified, as a country we're being divided.
If its not religion, its color and if its not color is gender or gender preference. Unbelievable folks.
Even if you are on opposite ends, lets think for a minute on this. |

I hear a lot of comments about same sex unions and marriages. I have to wonder why are we so focused on the emotional affairs of two loving individuals? Why are people fixated on keeping folks separate and in neat little compartments?
I recall as a child how uncomfortable folks were when two individuals of different races fell in love. The question was always raised in relation to "kids". People always seem concerned that other kids would make fun against kids of mix races....that fact is kids make fun of everything thing. |
